Topic: Attaching multiple invoices to email at once

Am I missing any special way to select multiple invoice to send out by email or is this feature not there at the moment?

I sometimes send more than one invoice to the same client, so right now I'm clicking on email for each invoice and transferring one invoice to another as an attachment?

Also, in the similar context, is there any plan on adding the feature so you can save the invoice pdf (single or multiple) onto the hard drive without having to generate email attachment and copying it onto the hard drive?

To add to this concept, it'd be nice to be able to select all or several invoices at once to save them all (via Preview save as feature) by their individual names at once. Or at least be able to open them all in Preview as multiple docs to then save. smile

As a work around, I saved a couple of invoices as PDF's and then attached them to an email. Not very creative or quick, but it got the job done. Hopefully a "multiple invoice option" will be available in B2.

No, there's no easy way.  I've asked for it before, in a different thread (too lazy to look up the link right now).  I'm in the same boat as you are: I often send multiple invoices to a single client.

There is a workaround besides creating the email; it's not the most straightforward, but it works.  Here's how:
1) In Billable, click "Preview" for each and every invoice you want to mail.  Don't close the Preview windows.
2) In Preview, pick one file (it doesn't matter which one); command-click on the file name in the title bar - this will show you the folder hierarchy.  Click on the parent folder (Tmp-something).  This will open it in the Finder.
3) In this folder, you should see copies of every invoice currently being shown by Preview (the filenames are the invoice numbers).  Now, you can drag these to your email program to attach them to a single email.  You can also drag them to another folder to "save them to disk."

I really hope this functionality gets built into the next version, but in the meantime, the above is how I handle things... hope this helps.
