Topic: Agony over Serial Numbers

It's very understandable to be upset over a crashing issue, or other problems which can cause lost time, etc. But I couldn't help but notice the turmoil over lost serial numbers and the inability to have them resent.

I'm in business. Hence, my need for billing software. And, when I make a purchase, I keep a record. I bought Billable as a download, and in the purchase receipt that was emailed to me was my serial number, which I copied and pasted into a separate file with all my other serial numbers and software keys. I also keep all my email. So my serial numbers are in at least two locations, and easily found if there is a need.

So, to those who are angry that they can't get their serial numbers sent to them, grow up and try employing some personal responsibility. Mommy isn't going to be there to wipe your butt forever.

Re: Agony over Serial Numbers

There are much greater issues here, try the fact that the owners / support of this company are MIA. They have not been heard from in months. They are not answering emails or support requests.  It's reasonable that when you pay for software to expect support for it and there are a variety of reasons why people can't get serial numbers to work or don't have them, it's not always a case of not just having the serial number. If this was free software no one would have any case or valid compliant but its not free, people have paid for a license and with that you expect reasonable support.

Re: Agony over Serial Numbers

While I encourage everyone to keep track of their serials, I also apologize for not being there to answer emails and manually look them up. The automated emailer still seems to hit spam walls (usually not even at the user level, but the server) sadly.

Anyways as I noted in my blog post today, I recently went through the last 30 days of support email. If you still need help, please let me know and I'll do everything I can to resolve the problem asap.
