Topic: Backup question for Billable.sqlite

I use Synk 6.4 to do a daily backup (usually in the middle of the night) of all my files and will now add the Billable.sqlite file from /Users/my-username/Library/Application Support/Bilable/ to that backup.

I am wondering if the Billable application needs to be closed when that file is backed up to my external drive or can the app be open?

I've sometimes had issues with certain files not backing up if the application for that file is open.

um would not the time machine backup billable on an hourly schedule. thier for the worry of backing it should not be thier.
am i thinking on the right lines here.
let me know your thoughts.

Billable should auto save on certain events but I recommend people shut it down before copying the data files around as that is the only way to make sure it has pushed all it's changes to disk. Quitting and restarting will also cause it to create it's own backup file during startup.
